Fr. Bill is the pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Howell, Mich.
Originally from the Pittsburgh, Penna. area, Fr. Bill earned
his B.S. from Allegheny College, his M.S. in biochemistry
from Michigan State University, his S.T.B. from Catholic University
of America.
Fr. Dwight Ezop
Editor in Chief
Fr. Dwight has been the editor in chief of FAITH Magazine
since 2001. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan
and the University of St. Mary on the Lake, Mundelein Seminary.
He served as the editor in chief of Mundelein’s magazine,
The Bridge. Fr. Dwight is the pastor of the Catholic Community
of St. Jude, DeWitt, Mich.

Charles Irvin

Founding Editor
Fr. Charlie received his B.B.A., M.B.A. and J.D. at the University
of Michigan. He also received a B.A. from Sacred Heart Major
Seminary in Detroit and an M.Div. From St. John Provincial
Seminary in Plymouth, Mich. Among other assignments, Fr. Charlie
was the founding pastor of Holy Spirit Parish in Hamburg,
Mich., the pastor of St. Francis Parish in Ann Arbor, and
the founding editor of FAITH Magazine. In 2002, he was granted
senior priest status. Fr. Charlie writes, travels extensively
and assists pastors in their parish ministries.

Joe Krupp
In the Know with Fr. Joe
Fr. Joe Krupp was a comedy writer for FOX who discovered he
had a calling to the priesthood. He holds a B.A. from the
University of Michigan-Flint, and an M.Div. from Sacred Heart
Major Seminary in Detroit. He is currently the chaplain at
Lansing Catholic Central High School in Lansing, Mich.

Cathleen McGreal
The Journey
Dr. McGreal is a psychology professor at Michigan State University.
She received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from MSU
in 1984, focusing on inter-generational family relationships.
Cathleen is a certified spiritualdirector, pursuing this course
of study through the St. Francis Retreat Center/Dominican
Center for Religious Development program. She has conducted
numerous workshops and retreats integrating psychology and
spirituality and has taught courses at the Summer Institute
at the University of Notre Dame.

From the Bishop
Publisher of FAITH Magazine
Bishop Mengeling is a native of Hammond, Ind. and a graduate
of St. Meinrad College and Seminary in St. Meinrad, Ind. He
was a member of the Diocese of Gary’s first ordination
class and was ordained to the priesthood on May 25, 1957.
In 1964, he earned a doctorate in sacred theology from The
Alphonsianum University in Rome. He served as pastor of a
number of parishes in the Gary diocese, most recently St.
Thomas More in Munster, Ind. In 1996, he was ordained bishop
for the Diocese of Lansing.

Tim is an information technology professional who holds a
master’s degree in pastoral studies from Loyola University.
He is a member of St. Joseph Parish in Gaines, Mich. Tim combines
his pastoral abilities with his experience “in the field”
to shine the light of faith on day-to-day life in the workplace.

Elizabeth earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan and
a master’s degree in religious education from Loyola
University. Additionally, she spent two years studying theology
at St. John Provincial Seminary in Plymouth, Mich. Elizabeth
is married and has two teen-aged children.

of Lansing Family Ministry Committee. Tom is the Director
of Family Life Ministry for the diocese.
